The present Wetherby Physiotherapy Practice was established in 1996. Initially located in the New Medical Centre, Crossley Street in Wetherby, after five successful years the practice expanded and new, larger premises were opened in Clifford in 2002.
Practice Principals
Nora Thrush, MCSP Grad. Dip. Phys.
Nora qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in Sheffield in 1974. Broadly experienced she worked as a Senior Physiotherapist for 15 years in the NHS, including hospitals in Sheffield , Northampton and Darlington .
For the last 13 years she has worked in the private sector, initially The Duchy Hospital in Harrogate before forming the Wetherby Physiotherapy Practice as Practice Principal with Belinda in 1996.
Belinda Milligan, MCSP Grad. Dip. Phys.
Belinda qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from the Leeds general Infirmary in 1986. She worked in the NHS for York health Authority and Leeds Health Authority in her Junior and Senior Physiotherapist posts before joining the Wetherby Physiotherapy Practice in 1996.
Together with Nora, Belinda became Practice Principal in 1996.

Louise Robinson MCSP
Louise qualified as a physiotherapist at Manchester University in 1988. Before joining the Wetherby Physiotherapy Practice in 2002, she worked as a Junior Physiotherapist at Bradford Royal Infirmary and York District Hospital and as a Senior Physiotherapist at Harrogate District Hospital.
Jayne Smith MCSP
Jayne graduated as a physiotherapist in 1985 from the Nottingham School of Physiotherapy. Since then she has worked as a physiotherapist at St James Hospital Leeds, Harrogate District Hospital and Harrogate Healthcare Trust before joining the Wetherby Physiotherapy Practice in 2002.
